NAPLES, FL (October 2017) – If you want to avoid the stress of preparing this year’s Thanksgiving Day feast, then you should head to The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club for its elaborate Thanksgiving Day Buffet. An annual tradition for many, the buffet will feature all of the traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with a wide assortment of other offerings to please everyone in the family, according to Jason Parsons, the resort’s general manager.
Served in The River of Grass Ballroom, the Thanksgiving Day Buffet will be offered from noon – 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017. In addition to featuring Roasted Whole Turkey with Sage Giblet Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, the buffet will offer Roasted Rib of Beef with Rosemary Jus and Yorkshire Pudding; Florida Fresh Grouper with Romesco Sauce; and Medallions Stuffed Pork Loin with Prosciutto, Wild Mushrooms and Ruby Port and Currant Sauce. In addition, there will be a Pasta Station with Orecchiette, Gnocchi and Butternut Squash Ravioli, with Pesto, Pomodoro and Alfredo Sauce.
Appetizers and side dishes will include Chilled Cocktail Shrimp, Gulf Oysters on the Half Shell, New Zealand Green Mussels, Snow Crab Claws with Tangy Cocktail Sauce, Swedish Gravlax, Smoked Idaho Trout, Smoked Sturgeon, Candied Yams topped with Marshmallow Brulée, Whipped Potatoes, and Seasonal Fresh Vegetable Medley. Other options will include a salad bar, cheeses and charcuterie station, specialty salads, a soup and bread station, and bakery items (including Orange Cranberry Muffins and Pumpkin Bread).
A wide assortment of dessert options will include a Crepe Station, Apple Cobbler, Carrot Cake, Key Lime Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Cappuccino Oreo Cheesecake, Pecan Pie, Flan Caramel, Flourless Chocolate, and Chocolate Mousse Bombe.
Children may choose from the main buffet, and/or may select from a special “Children’s Buffet.” Options will include Chicken Tenders, Turkey Sliders, Mini Corn Dogs, Macaroni & Cheese, PB&J Finger Sandwiches, Rice Krispies Treats, Pumpkin Cookies, and Chocolate S’mores Bars.
The Thanksgiving Buffet is $75 per adult, $30 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Tax and gratuity are additional, but complimentary valet parking is included. For those who would prefer to dine at the resort’s HB’s on the Gulf, the beachfront restaurant will be offering special Thanksgiving Day Offerings on Thursday, November 23, 2017 from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. for lunch and from 5 – 10 p.m. for dinner.
The HB’s on the Gulf Thanksgiving Day Lunch Special, available for $28 per person (plus tax and gratuity), will feature Hand-Carved Roasted Turkey, with Apple Pecan and Sun-dried Cranberry Dressing. It will be served with Candied Yams, French Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce, and Whipped Potatoes with Sage Gravy. The meal will be topped off with Pumpkin Pie for dessert. The Thanksgiving Day Dinner Special at HB’s on the Gulf will consist of the same entrée and sides; plus the choice of soup (Roasted Sweet Corn and Butternut Squash Purée) or salad (Baby Kale and Pumpkin Salad); and the choice of Pumpkin Pie or Caramel Apple Cheesecake for dessert.
