NAPLES, FL (October 2013) – If you want to avoid the stress of preparing this year’s Thanksgiving Day feast, then you should head to The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club for its elaborate Thanksgiving Day Buffet. An annual tradition for many, the buffet will feature all of the traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with a wide assortment of other offerings to please everyone in the family, according to Jason Parsons, the resort’s general manager.

Served in The River of Grass Ballroom, the Thanksgiving Buffet will be offered from noon – 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2013. In addition to featuring Roasted Whole Turkey with Sage Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, the buffet will offer Roasted Rib of Beef au Jus, Grouper Tapenade with Saffron Cream Sauce, and Medallions of Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Dry Fruit Compote.

Appetizers and side dishes will include Chilled Shrimp and Snow Crab Claws with Sun-dried Tomato Cocktail Sauce; a Smoked Fish Presentation with Salmon, Tuna, and Trout; assorted Patés; Granny Smith Apple and Pumpkin Bisque; Turkey with Orzo Pasta Rice Soup; Bow Tie and Rigatoni Pasta; Candied Yams topped with Marshmallow Brulée ; and Apple, Pecan and Sun-Dried Cranberry Stuffing. An impressive array of additional appetizers, salads, side dishes, and homemade breads also will be available.

A wide assortment of dessert offerings will include a Crepe Station, White Chocolate Cranberry Brioche Pudding, Peach Hazelnut Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, Bourbon Pecan Pie, Banana Split Cake, Wild Rice Pudding, and Apple Raisin Strudel.

Children may choose from the main buffet, and/or may select from a special “Children’s Buffet.” Offerings will include Chicken Tenders, Mini Corn Dogs, Fish Sticks, and Macaroni & Cheese.

The Thanksgiving Buffet is $60 per adult, $20 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Tax and gratuity are additional, but complimentary valet parking is included. For those who would prefer to dine at the resort’s newly renovated HB’s on the Gulf, the beachfront restaurant will be offering special Thanksgiving Day Offerings on Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and from 5 – 10 p.m. The Thanksgiving Two-Course Lunch Special, available for $26 per person, will consist of Roasted Turkey with Apple Pecan, Sun-dried Cranberry Dressing, served with Candied Yams, Asparagus, Cranberry Sauce, and Whipped Potatoes with Sage Gravy. The meal will be topped off with Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

The Thanksgiving Three-Course Dinner Special at HB’s on the Gulf will consist of the same entrée and sides, plus the choice of soup (Granny Smith Pumpkin Bisque or Turkey with Orzo Pasta Soup) or Mixed Greens Salad; and the choice of Pumpkin Pie or Maple Pumpkin Cheesecake for dessert. The special Thanksgiving Dinner is $38 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Or you may opt to order off of the regular menu, as it will be available as well.
