. . . Resort Is Also Offering A Special Thanksgiving Lunch & Dinner In Its Beachfront Restaurant HB’s On The Gulf

NAPLES, FL (October 2012) – If you are stressed about preparing this year’s Thanksgiving Day feast, then you should consider heading to The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club for its elaborate Thanksgiving Day Buffet. An annual tradition for many, the buffet will feature all of the traditional Thanksgiving fare, along with a wide assortment of other offerings to please everyone in the family, according to Jim Anderson, the beachfront resort’s food & beverage director.

Served in The River of Grass Ballroom, the Thanksgiving Buffet will be offered from 1 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 22, 2012. In addition to featuring Roasted Whole Tom Turkey with Sage Gravy and Cranberry Sauce, the buffet will offer Roasted Prime Rib of Beef au Jus, Grouper Medallions stuffed with Braised Spinach and Mushroom Duxelles, and Grilled Petite Pork Chops with Carmelized Shallots and Juniper Berry Demi.

Appetizers and side dishes will include Chilled Shrimp and Snow Crab Claws with Sun-dried Tomato Cocktail Sauce; a Smoked Fish Presentation with Salmon, Tuna, and Trout; assorted Patés; Butternut Bisque; Turkey and Wild Rice Soup; Angel Hair and Penne Pasta; Candied Yams topped with Marshmallow Brulee; and Apple, Pecan and Sun-Dried Cranberry Stuffing. An impressive array of additional appetizers, salads, side dishes, and homemade breads also will be available.

A wide assortment of dessert offerings will include a “Create Your Own Crepe” Station, Warm Spiced Pumpkin Bread Pudding, Chocolate-Frangelico Cheesecake, Warm Chocolate Orange Bread Pudding, Key Lime Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Roasted Pineapple Coconut Cake, and assorted Crème Brulee Shooters.

Children may choose from the main buffet, and/or may select from a special “Children’s Buffet.” Offerings will include Chicken Tenders, Mini Corn Dogs, and Macaroni & Cheese.

The Thanksgiving Buffet is $58 per adult, $20 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Tax and gratuity are additional, but complimentary valet parking is included. For those who would prefer to dine at the resort’s HB’s on the Gulf, the beachfront restaurant will be offering special Thanksgiving Day Offerings on Thursday, November 22, 2012 from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and from 5 – 10 p.m. The Thanksgiving Two Course Lunch Special, available for $26 per person, will consist of Roasted Tom Turkey with Apple Pecan, Sun-dried Cranberry Dressing, served with Candied Yams, French Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce, and Whipped Potatoes with Sage-Thyme Gravy. The meal will be topped off with Pumpkin Pie for dessert.

The Thanksgiving Three Course Dinner Special at HB’s on the Gulf will consist of the same entrée and sides, plus the choice of soup (Butternut Bisque Soup or Turkey and Wild Rice Soup) or Garden Salad; and the choice of three exceptional desserts.
