. . . The Gulf-front Restaurant Unveils New Menus In Celebration of the Reopening of Its Redesigned Championship Golf Course


NAPLES, FL (November 2016) – HB’s on the Gulf, the Gulf-front restaurant at the AAA Four-Diamond The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club, has unveiled new lunch and dinner menus. The new menus at the restaurant, which offers indoor dining with magnificent views of the Gulf and sunsets as well as an outdoor patio overlooking the white-sand beach and shimmering water, were created by HB’s on the Gulf’s Chef Justin Hornyak and his team.


The new menus are in celebration of the reopening of the resort’s championship golf course, which was redesigned – almost reinvented – by golf icon and acclaimed course designer Jack Nicklaus in collaboration with noted course architect John Sanford. The Jack Nicklaus redesign of the course began in April, and the course is now open and fully operational after the $9 million redesign and renovation.  


The new dinner menu features such new small plate offerings as:  PEI Curry Mussels, Garlic Shrimp, House Marinated Olives, Foie Gras, and Stone Crabs. New dinner large plate options include Scallops with Lobster Risotto, Pork Shank Bucatini, Pork Porterhouse, Lobster Boil (with Clams and Shrimp), and Florida Pompano. 


HB’s new lunch menu features many of the same new small plate options that are on the new dinner menu, as well as such new large plate options as:  Kobe Burger (with Apple Wood Bacon, Bleu Cheese and Roasted Garlic Aioli), Short Rib Grilled Cheese, Beef Tenderloin Medallions Salad, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Lobster Roll, and Alligator Sausage. HB’s popular Grouper Taco, Pineapple Boat, and Sirloin Burger remain from the previous menu. 


New dessert options include: Tiramisu, Truffles (Raspberry, Fleur de Sel, and Coconut), Blueberry Cobbler, and Coconut Cream Pie. The restaurant’s popular Key Lime Pie, a South Florida favorite, remains on the menu. 


In addition to its new cuisine options, HB’s offers an impressive wine and beverage menu, with more than 150 wine selections from around the world, and a number of high quality small production wines. 


HB’s on the Gulf is open daily for lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., and nightly from 5 – 10 p.m.  Small plates on the new lunch menu start at $15, with salads starting at $15, and large plates starting at $17.
