NAPLES, FL (September 2012) – HB’s on the Gulf, the beachfront restaurant at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club which again captured the prestigious “Award of Excellence” from Wine Spectator magazine, is offering a complimentary bottle of Tamaya Reserve wine with the purchase of two dinner entrées. To take advantage of the offer, which is available through October 31, 2012, you simply need to go to the www.NaplesBeachHotel.com home page and print out the HB’s on the Gulf coupon, or resort guests receive a coupon upon check-in. The offer cannot be combined with any other offer.
HB’s on the Gulf, which is the city of Naples’ only beachfront restaurant, received Wine Spectator magazine’s “Award of Excellence” in August 2012 for the eight consecutive year. The award is given to restaurants in recognition of their commitment to a fine wine list, with a diverse selection of better producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Wine lists need to be extensive, and usually offer 100 or more quality wine selections. HB’s wine list features more than 150 selections from around the world, including a 4-year vertical of Australia’s Penfolds Grange, and a number of high quality small production wines. This year’s award winners were listed in the August 31, 2012 issue of Wine Spectator.
“We take pride in our wine program at HB’s on the Gulf,” said Jim Anderson, Food & Beverage Director at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. “The complimentary wine offer is simply a way to publicize our wine offerings and our commitment to providing a diverse selection for our customers.”
Dining at the restaurant provides the opportunity to experience such menu offerings as Portobello Quesadilla, Fried Calamari, Seared Jerk Rubbed Shrimp, Penne Primavera, Shrimp and Scallop Provencal, Mediterranean Stuffed Swordfish, Macadamia Crusted Grouper Medallions, Rosemary Roasted Lamb Chops, and Grilled Rib Eye Steak.
Named after the landmark resort’s founder Henry Broadwell Watkins Sr., HB’s on the Gulf serves fresh regional seafood, great steaks and American cuisine.
